Summary
This release centres on Second World War aerial imagery sourced from the US National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) collection, with a strong emphasis on Iceland and Western Europe. The material originates from NARA, digitised in partnership with them, and includes coverage exclusively from 1944 and 1945.
The coverage of Iceland is extensive, and reveals the interest the Allies had in this strategic location.
