Ordering historic aerial photography can sometimes be challenging, particularly when multiple frames cover the same location. Our Image Verification service provides expert review of your selected image, helping ensure you receive the most appropriate coverage available from the specified survey and date.
If you're unsure whether you've identified the best image for your project, our Image Verification service provides additional reassurance before a high-resolution image is digitised and delivered.
Available for United Kingdom aerial imagery only, this service allows experienced NCAP staff to review your selected frame during the digitisation process. If a more suitable image covering your area of interest is identified on the same roll of film, our team will substitute the frame with the better match.
Please note that Image Verification is limited to identifying more suitable frames on the same roll of film and does not include a wider archive search for alternative photography.
This helps ensure you receive the most appropriate image available for your specified location and date, without needing to place additional orders.
If no coverage of your area of interest is found on the selected film, any digitisation charges will be refunded.
