Image Release Note 004: NARA Upload

Summary
This release is primarily composed of Second World War aerial imagery sourced through our ongoing partnership with the US National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), supplemented by select coverage from the Directorate of Overseas Surveys (DOS) and a few sorties over Scotland, including several views of Rockall. The dataset offers extensive coverage of Central and Eastern Europe, with repeated entries for Germany, France, Poland, Russia, and Belarus, reflecting key theatres of wartime reconnaissance.
The Baltic region is well represented with imagery from Lithuania, Latvia, and Finland, while Scandinavia includes Sweden and Norway. Southern European coverage includes Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and Switzerland, with additional entries from Cyprus and the Czech Republic.
The Middle East is represented through imagery of the UAE, and the Caribbean includes Dominica, Bermuda, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and the British West Indies. The inclusion of Fiji, Cameroon, and Penrhyn Island adds global reach. This release significantly enhances the temporal and geographic depth of the imagery available on Air Photo Finder from both NCAP and NARA, particularly for Second World War Europe.
