Summary

This dataset reflects the extensive scope of UK-based survey firms, many of which operated internationally, contributing to a broad geographical coverage. European coverage is particularly strong, with repeated entries for Germany, France, Austria, Poland, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Denmark, much of it derived from Joint Air Reconnaissance Intelligdence Centre (JARIC) imagery. 

The UK is well represented, spanning England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and specific locations such as Salisbury Plain, London Docklands, Humber Estuary, and Stratford-upon-Avon. Ireland also features prominently, including detailed coastal and inland areas. Beyond Europe, this dataset includes imagery from Egypt, Syria, and Sierra Leone, indicating the international scope of some survey operations. Icelandic locations such as Krafla, Stafholtsey, and Reykjavik-Hellisheidi add a Nordic dimension. The inclusion of hydrological features like the River Severn, River Stour, and River Medway illustrates a strong environmental and infrastructure focus within the UK data.
