Image Release Note 010: NCAP Upload

Summary

This release integrates imagery from a mix of United Kingdom survey firms and Ministry of Defence (MOD) sources, notably the Joint Air Reconnaissance Intelligence Centre (JARIC), with a strong emphasis on Middle Eastern coverage digitised in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates National Library. The dataset balances domestic UK imagery with international content, spanning Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Australia, and North America. 

UK coverage is extensive, with detailed surveys across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, including urban, rural, and coastal zones. Key English locations such as London, Oxford, Milton Keynes, and Canterbury are complemented by environmental features like the River Dove, River Medway, and Lower Roding. European entries include Berlin, Leipzig, Malta, and Iceland, while Middle Eastern imagery covers strategic sites across the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. 

The inclusion of Montserrat, British Virgin Islands, and Tobago adds Caribbean representation, and imagery from California and Atlanta extends the online archive into North America. This release significantly enhances Air Photo Finder’s modern and global scope.
